1. Chicken Biryani...hyderabadi style. Though restaurants boast of hyderabadi biryani being available, its nothing like it.
2. Road side food... U can fill your stomach for 20 bucks at any chat bhandar, or Chinese fast food, its delicious. Bang road side food has nothing in it, and gives u a stomach-ache.
3. Traffic... Hyd traffic is bad, but Bang is worse. At least u don't see an armada of motorcycles going on the footpath, following a queue system. And u have to wait for an eternity for the signal to change from red to green.
4. A movie at any decent theater costs u 160 on weekdays, and it can go up to 200, 250, ,or eve 440 if you are destined to lose money. Popcorn starts at 50 ( the roadside one). I still remember in pilani u spend 10 bucks and u get enough popcorn for 3 people to last a movie. Pepsi also starts from 50..and they can go upto 100, varying in size, taste and color. Imax or PVR in Hyd is not costly anymore, the only place u can see a movie in bang for 100 bucks is in a non-ac theatre.
5. Sight seeing... U only have places in bangalore to go on a date with ur girlfriend, parks, gardens and the list goes on... nothing much at which u can stare at and say "wow...!" or"hmmm...". ISKON temple u might say... ive seen it. A multiplex with a temple on the top floor, thats what describes it best. A place to have gobi manchuria for "prasadam". Hyd again, totally roxx; charminar, tombs, birla temple, what not....
6. MG bus station is in now way comparable to Majestic Bus station and so is the railway station; no more questions
7.Telugu movies, anytime better than Kannada movies.
8.You can make a fortune out of a small building, extorting money from tenants as advance. A decent flat in a residential locality costs u a minimum of 15k with 1.5lacs advance. Certainly u would not be spending so much on shelter.
9.U cant get into a running bus in Bang....totally suxx. There are doors at the entrance, automatically closing after the stop. So its miles and miles to walk.
10. Every Hyderabadi feels Hyderabad is the best (which is not just a feeling, but a proven fact)... and for obvious other reasons.

A) For a person living in marthalli and seen very very little of bangalore.... those comments are not justified at all.
B) Fast food in bangalore is incomparable to hyd.... its the best fast food place in south india. Movies, are expensive.. but kannada movies are much much more sensible than telugu. Most national award winners are from karnatake :P
C) The reason why bangalore is expensive is that a butt load of people like you who complain about the place end up living here and promoting the software world thus increasing the standard of living again :P
D) When was the last time you saw a girl and guy share a private moment is the traffic clogged, smog bitten charminar? I prefer silent bushes to bustling traffic if i were to be with a girl. And there are brilliant places in bangalore you ob have no idea about...... next time atleast try to visit the bangalore palace and stare the gandure of vidhan soudha..... and compares to your legislature building its AWESOME.
totally agree man... and hyd does not have ignorant fools like sharkey who take you to the wrong bus stop in the wrong direction on the wrong side of the road to take a bus to the only bus station in bangalore!!

a)u live in any corner of hyd for a week and im sure that u'll agree that hyd rox.. achow couldn't agree after living in marthalli for about 50 days and visiting some places.
b)yeah..i agree that fast food in bang is incomparable to hyd..in hyd we wont get chilled bombay chat for 25 bucks when u go to a chat bandar expecting some hot chat in a cold weather..im sure u dint taste panipuri@hyd.. obbb right??
c)ohh..if one says telugu movies are not sensible after watching balayya's movies,what can anyone comment after watching upendra's movies?? gud and bad exists every where,its the proportion that matters..the revenue,craze says everything about it..And according to wat i heard from a kannadiga,most of the hits in last 5 years are remakes of hit telugu movies.. not sure..plz comment :)
d)if traffic in charminar is to be ranked along with areas in banglore it wont even find a place in top 10 list.. i've seen hardly 10-15 areas here,but im sure about this buddy..

Neways, when you grow up somewhere it obviously feels like home, and nothing compares to it.. Sad that you want to go to Bang and eat Hyd biryani! Get some Bang food!

In Hyderabad, no matter where you're from, you're always made to feel welcome there... I don't see that anywhere else (in this magnitude)..
